Rough Guide to St Mary's - 24 February 2019

Registration is closed for this event
There will be a Rough Guide to St Mary’s on 24 February 2019 starting at 12.30 pm and finishing around 3.30 pm.

Everything You Wanted to Know…

The Rough Guide to St Mary's offers new members of the congregation an opportunity to meet the Provost, the Very Rev Kelvin Holdsworth and other leaders of the congregation. Kelvin will be talking about the ethos of St Mary's and how it functions. In particular he will be talking about how to get the most out of St Mary’s.

Behind the Scenes Tour

See parts of the Cathedral you’ve never seen before—this behind the scenes tour will include the church itself, the Sacristy and how to find the Cathedral Office. See what it feels like to stand in the pulpit or visit the bell ringing chamber (tbc)!

Any Questions with the Provost

Following the Behind the Scenes Tour, the Provost invites participants to join him for a conversation in which he will speak about what brought him to St Mary’s, his vision for the congregation and what makes him tick. This will also be an opportunity to meet and get to know new friends.

Lunch will be provided.
